One of 2016’s most maligned shooters, Homefront: The Revolution, is getting a major update in March. The update which will give PS4 Pro users increased resolution and performance as well as HDR support. It is unknown at this point if these added boons will be present on other platforms such as the Xbox One S, which also supports HDR.

Furthermore the game’s third and final DLC, known as Beyond the Wall, will be released as part of the game’s season pass. As the name suggests, this DLC will take players beyond Philadelphia, with developer Dambuster Studios calling the DLC ‘a breath of fresh air’.

Lastly, the studio announced that console players would be receiving a trial mode of the game’s Resistance Mode, giving players the ability to try before they buy.

Also included, anyone with a PS4 Pro will have the dial turned up a little to see a boost to resolution and performance. There are also some HDR enhancements thrown in there too!

For anyone who hasn’t had the chance to try Homefront: The Revolution yet, we are pleased to announce that there will be a console trial version. We are excited to open up the world of Philadelphia to more players and look forward to seeing you all in Resistance Mode.
